To register for any of our classes at Discount Fabric Warehouse – Hilo, please call (808) 935-1234 or visit us in-store. We are unable to take registration requests online, through social media, or through email. Your registration is not confirmed until payment has been made. Registration must be complete before the start of the class. Space is limited.

BABY LOCK / BROTHER CLUB
Discount Fabric Warehouse is happy to announce the addition of Linda Koeberle to our teaching staff. Linda, a self-described “lover of all things sewing” will be teaching our Baby Lock/Brother Club. Linda started sewing in high school. Since then, she has sewing for the public and taught both sewing and quilting classes. A graduate of Martha Pullen’s Teacher Licensing Program, Linda enthusiastically shares both the sewing and quilting skills she has acquired over the years. She invites all other sewing enthusiasts to join her as she shares fun projects sewing on the finest sewing machines made.

Embellish a special project with this delicate in-the-hoop lace flower. The flower is created using thread stitched onto water-soluble stabilizer. A silk organza leaf adds another dimension to the design, and center button adds the finishing touch. 

Please Bring the Following Supplies to Class: 

• 60wt cotton or 40wt rayon embroidery thread (please wind a bobbin to match the top thread)

• Water-soluble stabilizer (2 layers)

• Optional:  Button or other embellishment for the flower center

• 2 to 3-inch square of heavy cut-away stabilizer or felt (to stitch the flowers on)

Dress up your tabletop with this reversible placemat. One “quilt as you go” side features nine blocks and the other side features strips. Using the sew and flip method you will piece and quilt in one step. You will use the embroidery side of your machine featuring the edge to edge stitching sequence for quilting.
