What You’ll Be Learning

Here’s the description of this fabulous event from our friends at Kimberbell:

Everything’s coming up roses at The Garden Guild, Kimberbell’s one-day machine embroidery event! Create a Machine Embroider by Number: Pieced Bloom in a 6×10 hoop at the event, then “leaf” with four additional sizes to stitch later. Add “Darling, You Look Radishing” to a fully-lined Zipper Pouch Blank, then make a “Wet My Plants” Mat perfect for your potted blooms! The three event projects include fresh techniques and fabulous Kimberberbellishments such as Pull Flowers, Cute as a Button(s), Wool Felt Balls, and more. When you join The Garden Guild, your embroidery skills are sure to blossom and grow.

How Does This Work?

To register for this event, complete this form and submit it! We’ll send the information that you’ll need to take with you to pay for your registration at one of our stores. We will be e-mailing a link to all paid participants so that they can join the private Facebook group once registration is confirmed. Your supply kit can either be picked up at the store or we can mail it to your designated mailing address! Registration must be paid for and confirmed by March 03 to ensure that we can get you your kit in time for the event.

On each day of the event, you can either log on during the times provided and watch each project as the instructional video premiers on the Facebook page or you can watch it on your own time. During the premiere, someone from Discount Fabric Warehouse or Hawaii Creative Sewing will be in the comments to answer any questions you may have! We will be working on one project at a time and taking a break between projects so that you can step away from your machine for a bit or catch up.

The videos in the group will stay up for the foreseeable future. Once the event has taken place, no new membership requests will be approved. We ask that you do not invite anyone who has not paid the registration fee to join the group as they will be denied.
