The Kauai store is asking for help to create 150 of these adorable bears! The completed bears will be donated to the Adopt a Family Maui Facebook page and distributed to families on Maui. 

The bears in the image are made using Simplicity 1191. Unfortunately, that particular pattern is discontinued. You may be able to find it at your local Discount Fabric Warehouse store. However, Simplicity pattern S8044 would be a wonderful substitution. 

As a thank you, we will be offering a $5 Discount Fabric Warehouse gift certificate for your first bear donated. (Although we do welcome donations of more than just one bear as well!) 

If you do not have time to help make the bears, but still want to help, we are accepting donations of fabric to make the bears. You can drop off any donations at the Kauai store.
